I LOVE to use things that would normally be thrown out.  I've recently been working on switching some of my old stamps from wood block to acrylic.  I was left with all of these wood blocks.  I could have just given them to someone to toss in their fire, but I felt the challenge of repurposing them.  So, I painted these with some gray acrylic paint and used the Wicked Fun DSP, bat punch and curly label punch to pretty them up.  For the letters I wanted a little more dimension so I stamped them on the cardboard pieces that come with the DSP (again repurposing), and used Crystal Effects to make them stand out.

Up close again.  We did all of these at the retreat that my stampin buddy Tracy and I put together last October.  Something to think about if you like what you see, we are already starting to plan for this October....=).
