Well Worn and watercoloring
Here is another project from my last club get together. I used the Well Worn DSP again and thought this image from the Creative Elements set really wanted to be watercolored so I used my aquapainter and just ink from the lids of Dusty Durango, More Mustard and River Rock to color it in. The flower I die cut from the Fun Flowers die and embossed it with the Petals a Plenty folder. Enjoy!

Finally! One of these days I will get on the ball and get in the hang of uploading my pics and posting regularly. These are a couple of coffin shaped treat boxes I had my gals from one of my clubs make last weekend. I got the template from the SU! website and the paper is from the Well Worn DSP pack. I thought the wood grain was perfect for a coffin. I also tried my hand with the scored medallions, much easier when you have a scoring system. I had tried them once before with just my regular scoring tool and it was a disaster. Anyway, Happy Halloween!

I LOVE to use things that would normally be thrown out. I've recently been working on switching some of my old stamps from wood block to acrylic. I was left with all of these wood blocks. I could have just given them to someone to toss in their fire, but I felt the challenge of repurposing them. So, I painted these with some gray acrylic paint and used the Wicked Fun DSP, bat punch and curly label punch to pretty them up. For the letters I wanted a little more dimension so I stamped them on the cardboard pieces that come with the DSP (again repurposing), and used Crystal Effects to make them stand out. Up close and personal.
Here is the Christmas version. I painted the blocks white and used the DSP from the Holiday mini.
Up close again. We did all of these at the retreat that my stampin buddy Tracy and I put together last October. Something to think about if you like what you see, we are already starting to plan for this October....=).

Diva mask
Hello again all! (If you're paying attention I've been naughty and haven't posted in awhile). This is a mask I made just for the fun of it but then actually got to use at a masquerade. I used the newsprint DSP from the Holiday mini catalog. I used sparkley modgepodge to glue it on. I also added some black glitter to define the holes for the cheeks, eyes and nose. Fun stuff, hope you like it!
Here's a better view. I also added the purple glitter to the fabric piece that held the feathers together and rhinestones to help make it appear a little more graceful. I had to resist the urge to get some false lashes to put on.
